Our panelists will share their perspectives on the economic outlook for entrepreneurs and investors in 2023, as well as insights on strategic structuring of startups to optimize financial returns for an intended future exit.

We will host David Teten (Founder, Versatile Venture Capital) in conversation with Bhaskar Ghosh (“BG”, Partner and CTO, 8VC SF), in a panel moderated by Sam Hendel (Co-founder, Dataminr). In addition to the discussion, we will have short introductory remarks from leaders of our partner Yale organizations: Accelerate Yale, YaleFin, Blavatnik Fellowship, and Friends of Yale from Industry. Our panel will discuss venture capital from both a VC & entrepreneur perspective, tech investments and startups, how they relate to the Yale community, and the growth areas of tech where generational companies will be built. We’ll also offer insights for recent grads and experienced executives on working in the VC industry and with VC-backed startups. We will finish with an audience Q&A and open the floor to network & mingle over cocktails and snacks. All attendees must provide proof of COVID vaccination.

On a rainy but cheerful evening, a crowd of Yale alumni and friends gathered at COFFEED’s flagship location in Long Island City for a thought-provoking and tasteful discussion about entrepreneurship and social good in the food business. Our terrific panelists were Ben Conniff, Co-Founder and President of Luke‘s Lobster; Jesse Gould, Founder of Ox Verte; and Frank Raffaele, founder of COFFEED, with moderator Linda Goode Bryant, Founder & President of Project Eats.​

Yale FinTech presented an intimate event at the Barclays Accelerator in NYC with Seth Wheeler, Former Senior Advisor to President Obama for Financial Services. Financial services entrepreneurs and executives joined as Seth led a discussion on why this election matters for Fintech and what entrepreneurs need to know about Washington.  

FinTech businesses are disrupting settled practices in payments, money transfers, loans, investing, fundraising, and even litigation.  Executives in these areas spoke with students at this intimate event hosted on Yale's campus.
